Hardy Diagnostics contact plates are recommended for use in the cultivation of microorganisms from environmental surfaces. P520 is a triple bagged contact plate, also commonly referred to as Rodac ™,  for surface monitoring. Ideal for environmental monitoring of clean room and clean bench surfaces. Gamma irradiated for sterility assurance.

Tryptic Soy Agar (TSA) with Lecithin and Tween® , USP is recommended for use as a general growth medium for establishing microbiological trends, alerts, and action levels in biologically controlled environments.

3 Easy Steps:

  • Remove lid.
  • Gently press plate to surface without twisting or sliding.
  • Twist the lid clockwise until frosted bands line up to lock lid into place.
